PKPASA Overview

  • We invite all PKP students to join the Association, which has been especially tailored to acknowledge the hard work and dedication needed in order to attain qualifications. The following is some information regarding the PKPASA association, in a nutshell:

    VISION STATEMENT

    To recognize the professional, high standard of the graduates of the International College

    of Professional Kinesiology Practice and to promote their interests in gaining acceptance and recognition of South African Education and Seta standards/authorities in the interest and benefit of humanity.

    The associations aims to:

    • Enable full recognition of all the time, effort and practice that each individual has put in to achieve the status of a Professional Kinesiology Practitioner.

    • Set standards equal to those of the mother college in New Zealand

    • Provide a home for PKP kinesiologists

    • Allow members of the public to understand what PKP is about and find practitioner


    PKPASA MEMBERSHIP

    We welcome new members to our association. We have different levels of membership Students – don’t yet have professional status.

    Professional – for PKP students who have completed a minimum of 18 units of PKP kinesiology

    Why become a member

    • An ethical base from which to work

    • Backing of an association and assurances that go with it

    • Credibility with clients

    • PKPASA is working hard to get SETA recognition for our members

    • You will have a listing on the website

    • We will be working to promote PKP kinesiology as well as our members

    MEMBERSHIP FEES:

    Annual membership for Professionals is R400.00. Membership is from 1 May to 30 April of each year. Pro-rata rates will apply should you join during the year.

    Annual membership for Students is R200.00. Membership and pro-rata rates apply as above.
